Eric “Pete” Petersen Joins the 2024-2025 Roster!

We are thrilled to welcome Eric Petersen (@ericpetersen9) to the 2024-2025 Roeder Multiport Team! Eric is joining us to train and race for both road and track events this upcoming season.

Check out Eric’s progression so far:

High School (2019):
• 1600m: 4:30.71
• 3200m: 9:48.02
• 5000m: 16:05

5 years later (2024):
• 1500m: 3:52.39 (4:08.39 for 1600m)
• 3000m: 8:16.97 (8:49.97 for 3200m)
• 5000m: 14:11.56 (just under 4:32 min/mile pace for 3.1 miles!)

Eric’s incredible progress at IUPUI includes All-Horizon League honors in cross country and track. He’s set personal bests in multiple events, including a SCHOOL RECORD OF 14:11.56 in the 5000m at the Raleigh Relays.

We’re excited to see Eric continue dropping times as he balances post-collegiate racing with his full-time role at Caterpillar. His dedication and passion for the sport make him a fantastic addition to our team!
