Coach Justin Roeder is a highly accomplished athlete and coach with an extensive background in running, triathlon, and multisport training. His elite-level racing and training experience, combined with his academic credentials and coaching expertise, make him a standout figure in the endurance sports community.
As a NCAA Division 1 collegiate athlete at Butler University (Indianapolis, Indiana), Roeder achieved remarkable success, earning five individual Horizon League Championships in the 3,000m, 5,000m, and 10,000m events. He was a two-time NCAA Cross Country National Qualifier, a ten-time Top 5 Horizon League Conference Finisher in Track & Field, and a three-time NCAA Track & Field Regional Qualifier. Roeder's contributions were instrumental in Butler's historic 14 consecutive Horizon League Cross Country Championship titles, including three perfect scores of 15 points.
Following his collegiate career, Roeder pursued professional triathlon from 2012 to 2015. He trained with the USA Triathlon Collegiate Recruitment and Olympic Development Programs at the Olympic Training Centers in Colorado Springs, CO and Chula Vista, CA where he trained and raced alongside former and future Olympic athletes and coaches.
Roeder's athletic prominence extends back to his time in high school, where he was an individual Indiana High School State Champion in Cross Country in 2004 and a four-time IHSAA All-State Cross Country runner at Hamilton Southeastern High School in Fishers, Indiana.
With a Bachelor's degree in Physical Education and a concentration in Exercise Science from Butler University, Roeder combines his athletic experience with a strong academic foundation. This blend of practical and theoretical knowledge informs his coaching philosophy, which emphasizes personalized training programs tailored to each athlete's unique needs and goals.
As the founder of Roeder Multisport, Justin offers expert coaching for runners and triathletes of all levels, from beginners to elite performers. He provides 1-on-1 coaching, creating custom training plans that take into account an individual's athletic history, injuries, work demands, and family responsibilities. His personalized approach ensures that each athlete receives a training regimen optimized for their specific circumstances and aspirations.
Roeder's coaching expertise extends to the collegiate level, where he has served as the Director/Head Coach for the Cross Country/Track & Field programs at Indiana University in Indianapolis. Under his leadership, the team has achieved numerous accolades, including conference championships, school records, and academic honors.
With certifications from USA Triathlon, IRONMAN, and TrainingPeaks, Roeder is proficient at guiding athletes in swimming, biking, and running. Andrew Whitinger

Andrew Whitinger is a highly accomplished NCAA Division I athlete and experienced running professional. With an impressive competitive background that includes breaking 10 collegiate school records and earning multiple Horizon League All-Conference honors, Andrew excels in distances from the 1500m to the 10,000m, and cross-country events.
Andrew is particularly skilled at working with younger athletes, demonstrating great enthusiasm for helping middle school and high school runners navigate their training and racing schedules. His ability to connect with and inspire young athletes sets him apart as a mentor in the running community.
His commitment to the sport is evident in his resilience, highlighted by his successful comeback from a significant back injury in 2021. Off the track, Andrew brings valuable expertise from his roles at Three Rivers Running Company and Athletic Annex, where he applied his knowledge in gait analysis while connecting with runners of all ages and experience levels.
